Passover &Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:4-8) Passover, Firstfruits, and Shavuot (Pentecost) are the three spring feasts that Jesus fulfilled. Passover commemorates God‚??s deliverance of His people from bondage and oppression in Egypt. It demonstrates the power of God to free His people from slavery ‚?? the Hebrews from the slavery in Egypt and His people today from slavery of sin and missing the mark. Egypt represents the beginning of slavery and Passover commemorates our redemption and new beginning. Jesus is the Passover Lamb and His blood was shed for us. The week of Passover includes the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Firstfruits. The Feast of Unleavened bread is a prophetic picture of the death and burial of Jesus. He is our bread of life, and the unleavened bread ‚?? a bread without leaven or sin.
